About Michael Villalobos
My family moved to Paso Robles from LA County when I was a newborn. They were wanting something different than the LA area to raise me and my sister. I am glad they chose Paso Robles as it such a wonderful place to grow up. As a child, I went to Pifer Elementary School. Like most boys at that age, sports were a central part of my life. I played basketball, baseball, and soccer. The friendships I developed through sports during this age are so valuable to me. Many of these relationships are still going strong today. My sister and I enjoyed trips to the snow at either Sierra Summit or Big Bear. We are fans of both the Lakers and Dodgers so going to see these games as a family is such a great memory. And, of course, family trips to Disneyland were always highlights.
I graduated from Paso Robles High School. By the time I got to High School, my competitive sports days were over as I had new interests and focused on my schoolwork and hanging out with my friends. Following High School, I studied sociology at Cuesta. I am fascinated by human interactions and the “how” and “why” people do what they do. This interest is obviously still going today as I work in a “Relationship Business”.
Following my time at Cuesta I worked at a Glass Fabrication company. We fabricated custom optics based off of strict specifications for laser-micro optics, lenses for telescopes or underwater cameras. I enjoyed the work and the attention to detail needed as I am a detail-oriented person.
I have lived in Paso Robles all my life. I enjoy the laidback vibe and the calm country settings. Giving back to the community is important to me. Previously I coached basketball to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade boys. One of my fondest memories as a kid was having older people, other than a parent, coach me in my sports. I do not have children of my own, but coaching allowed me to “give back” to my community just like those who did for me when I was young. I love the outdoors. Hiking and Fishing are great opportunities for me to take a break from daily life. There are so many day hiking trails in San Luis Obispo that it can never get repetitive! I am also a big movie fan and also playing Sports Fantasy Leagues.
As a real estate agent, I get to combine many of my interests and passions. The sociology aspect of working with people and developing relationships that are to last, not for just a single transaction, but for a lifetime, brings me great pleasure. My attention to detail creates a “Peace Of Mind” with my clients as they know I am meticulous in all aspects of this business.
I am passionate about my community. There are so many wonderful attributes about living in “North County” of San Luis Obispo County. I am glad I have joined The Shawn Team of Dani Blain Real Estate. Their philosophy of “We Provide…” resonates with me. Providing Community, and all that it implies, is very important to me. I strive to be more than just someone that advises on the buying or selling of a home, but also a resource on all aspects of this great community. This is my way of giving back!
